The kabuki brush can be used to apply foundation, blush, or setting powder. Many companies have began to make the kabuki brush because of the mineral makeup phenomenon. I have used both Bare Escentuals (BE) kabuki brush and elf's kabuki face brush from the studio line. Personally I would have to choose the elf brush. For the cost of $5 (compared to $28 at Sephora for the BE brush) you can't afford NOT to buy it. It is amazing. It's super soft, and lays my blush and setting powder nicely. Bare Escentuals brush was rougher and I personally don't like how it points at the top. Since the elf brush is so wide, the application of your cosmetic is quicker. It does look kind of big for blush but it applies perfectly onto my cheek bones and apples. So if your trying to find something to add to your brush collection or trying to find a cheap but quality kabuki brush, try the elf studio line kabuki brush here!
